There are multiple ways to incorporate Karma Payments products and services within a website or mobile platform. These options vary based on ease of integration, required resources, features, and additional security.
Karma Payments has partnered with Trustwave to provide free PCI vulnerability scan for all organizations utilizing our services. We also offer EMV Chip Card SDK for organizations wanting to interface with EMV terminals directly.
Three Step Redirect APIThe Three Step Redirect is the easiest and preferred API for customized web-based payment processing. This integration method allows organizations to quickly integrate with our services without sacrificing programmatic control over workflow. Additionally, using this integration method significantly reduces a merchant's PCI footprint without sacrificing end-user look and feel. This method is required when using Verified by Visa/Mastercard SecureCode (3D Secure).
3D Secure service allows organizations to accept foreign or domestic transactions with confidence because of the added layer of security verification provided by “Verified by Visa/Mastercard."
Direct Post APIThe Direct Post method is the direct integration method for both web-based and non web-based payment applications. However, organizations using this integration method should have passed a PCI vulnerability scan before use. With Karma Payments, PCI vulnerability scans come standard with a merchant account. This method of integration allows for native integration with Apple Pay, supports acquiring retail data (Magnetic Stripe data support for several vendors) and provides the option to add recurring payments and Customer Vault features as well.
Karma Payments Direct Post API also supports Partial Payments enabling consumers to provide payments in installments. For example, hospitals that allow patients to pay in installments.
We provide code examples for several languages and platforms.
The Mobile SDK supports iOS and Android based devices. These SDKs include a mobile card reader library which simplifies integrations for applications requiring encrypted mobile card readers. Additionally, an end-to-end encryption library is included, allowing merchants to send both swiped and keyed-in payment information without ever touching any sensitive data.
Our Query API allows merchants to download a detailed stream of transaction data. This dataset can then be used to create in-house reports and analytics.
QuickClick Shopping CartQuickClick is a great option for e-commerce merchants who do not have an IT team or developer on staff. A button-generator is included, which allows merchants to create website links to products and services without any previous development experience.
EMV Chip Card SDKThe EMV Chip Card SDK is a Windows-based software development kit that abstracts the complexities of interfacing directly with hardware terminals.
Third Party Shopping Carts
There are a number of third party shopping carts that have integrated to the payment gateway. This is the best option for merchants who need a full featured turn-key shopping cart out of the box.
