How do I turn Instant Karma on and off?
There is an on/off switch on the back of the device. Simply select the on position and Instant Karma is ready to accept donations. Devices are designed to be powered on for an extended amount of time. Turn off by selecting the off position.
How should I hold the mobile device?
Instant Karma has a built-in handle. Hold this with the donation screen facing the person giving a donation.
How do I set up a donation?
Devices are pre-programmed to accept multiple donation amounts, for example: $2, $5, $10, $100. These can easily be increased with the press of a button. After a donation is made, or by pressing twice, the device will revert to the default amount (determined by you). Donation amounts can be adjusted by contacting Karma Payments support or logging in with your admin access.
Where should a donor hold their card?
There is a screen on the face of each device; underneath this is the contactless symbol. The donor will tap, dip, swipe, or scan their card, phone, or watch on this symbol until Instant Karma processes payment.
